Financial report (virginia absent) Balance still $4701.00 Motioned
by Betsy and 2nd by Carol that we move forward with the SEES candy sale. Betsy suggested we sell for $2.00
each this time due to rise in cost. Last year we sold for $1.50 a bar. Virginia to reimburse Besty inital
fees for the first orders. This time we will order more chocolate with almonds/nuts.
Still need to reimburse Mary for Leadership Conference.
Christmas party location/suggestions: 1. Salutes 2. Bayou Bluff Tennis Club 3. Olive Garden.
Sunya to collect menus/room bookings and pricing and will confirm choices by email for president to decide. Meeting

Inservice by Kristie Palermo from Biogel products. Topic:
Biogel Latex Allergies. 1 hr CEU offered. Also presented new products for us to try out at our facilities.
Sunya offered 2 free CEU online from Medline University.
New President: Wants to set Christmas Party date for Dec 9th, bring
back location suggestions at next meeting. Wants to do lots of fundraising. Charity project: donation to
local charity or women's shelter.
We owe Mary money for leadership conference. Virginia to reimburse.
Miss Council owes Betsy $25.00.

Candy Bars in fall which was BIG success.
Still on track to send Mary Corley to leadership conference in summer.
Sunya cancelled due to AAAHC visit to her facility. Will try to send next time.
Could not get enough facilities to support another suture closing workshop.
Will attempt next year in the spring.

Betsy: we made a profit of $1000.00 off candy sale. (THANKS TO ALL
WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES). WE APPRECIATE ALL THE HARD WORK!!
Betsy: another fundraiser to order Easter candy as next fundraiser.
Seconded by Sunya Laws. Sales to start in March. More info to follow. Virginia to sell the rest of leftover ornaments
at BridgeFest.
Financial Report: Virginia: Balance in Hancock Bank is 2670.50.
Betsy to deposit $2400.00 plus $100.00 American Express Checks donated by Stryker Endoscopy. (subtract $900.00 from balance).
Leadership Conference: Motion to send Mary Corley (president elect,
and Sunya Laws, secretary) Seconded by Sherry Masters. Sunya to research dates, costs, travel and details for
next meeting. MS council may donate money to send someone. Last year they gave us $300 but no one was unable to
attend.
Wound Closure Workshop: Sunya to spearhead and coordiante the
event. Will present at Memorial Hospital Education Facility. More to come. Tentatively scheduled for May
16th (Saturday). Ethicon Rep to sponsor.

Virginia to bring us back more info on ceramic ornaments sales. Minimum order is 100
which will cost 1250.00
Anita: great fundraising idea to sell T-Shirts. Will bring info next meeting and
aim for sale after the holidays.
Local News/Events: Lovenox Party on Nov 3rd at Vrazel's in Gulfport.
Sherry to follow up. Presented our first color copy of our new logo that can used on correspondence, letterheads, envelopes,
and etc,. Everyone liked the lighthouse.
